Hidden Valley is a small resort just outside St. Louis -- modest terrain and vertical (around 320ft), with a genuine local following despite its size. It's not a terrain-variety destination, but it has more lift infrastructure (9 lifts) than its size might suggest.
Living here means St. Louis's outer suburbs rather than a resort town -- genuine city amenities, nightlife and everyday services are a short drive into St. Louis itself, which is where most off-mountain life happens for staff.
On the Epic Pass network as a regional feeder hill, Hidden Valley suits someone building lift-ops or instructing experience close to a major city rather than chasing terrain variety for a full season -- a solid option if you're St. Louis-based or want city access on days off.
