This board is in beta
It is built on the least reliable data we hold — rent that often prices a market flat rather than a staff room, wages that are mostly country-level estimates, and grocery baskets that vary by source. The order is indicative. Treat the top and bottom of it as meaningful and the middle as noise.
A figure leaves beta for a resort once 3 seasonaires have independently reported it. That is the whole plan — there is no better source for what a season actually costs than the people who paid for one.
Read this before you trust the order
Treat this board as indicative, not precise. Our rent figures come from cost-of-living databases that price a normal one-bedroom apartment — not the shared staff room most seasonaires actually rent, which is usually far cheaper. Roughly 70% of our local salary figures are estimates rather than sourced numbers. It is a ratio of local costs to local wages, so exchange rates cancel out and no currency conversion distorts it, but the inputs themselves are the weakest data on the site.
You can fix this. If you have done a season, tell us what you actually paid for your room and what you actually earned — that is the number this board should be built on, and nobody publishes it but you.
