The Ikon Pass is Alterra Mountain Company's season pass -- a mix of resorts Alterra owns outright (Palisades Tahoe, Steamboat, Winter Park, Mammoth) and a wide network of partner resorts it doesn't own, spanning North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand -- around 70+ destinations. There are three main tiers (Session, Base, Pass) with different day allowances and blackout rules per destination, so check ikonpass.com for the current roster and exact tier details. If your home resort is Alterra-owned, ask HR about staff pass terms specifically; it's a separate product from the public Ikon Pass.

Alterra staff receive their own "Alterra Mountain Pass" for employee ID/access, not automatically a full retail Ikon Pass -- some properties offer an upgrade path to Ikon access, and terms/restrictions vary by resort and role. Confirm exact current terms with your specific resort's HR before counting on it as equivalent to the public pass.
