If you're an intermediate or advanced rider who thrives on learning the same mountain deeply rather than chasing new terrain, the combination of consistent snow and challenging lines could keep you engaged; if you need constant variety or wide-open cruising, you'll likely feel the limitation by month three.

Living in Cortina requires some adjustment to a rural mountain setting. Rent through employer accommodation typically runs ¥5,000–¥40,000 per month (~£24–£192) depending on what's included (some packages bundle meals and lift access), and groceries average around ¥6,500 (~£31.3) weekly, so your baseline living costs are low—but the resort itself isn't walkable for everyday errands.
